Tulum, Q.R. — Repairs of the busy coastal corridor road of the town of Tulum is progressing. Tulum Mayor Diego Castañón called it a “key project”, saying its rehabilitation will restore order and improve mobility.

“The rehabilitation of the Coastal Corridor is progressing, a key project to restore order, improve mobility and strengthen Tulum’s image. This work paves the way for a more functional environment for our residents and visitors,” he said.
The Tulum Municipal Government is moving forward with the rehabilitation of the Coastal Corridor that will improve mobility in one of the busiest areas of the town.
Diego Castañón highlighted the importance of the project saying “we are building a Tulum that is more dignified, more orderly and prepared for the future. The transformation is moving forward, and we’re just getting started.”

This rehabilitation of the coastal road is part of the comprehensive urban development plan to address the needs of both residents and visitors. At the start of the project, Diego Castañón said “the project, which covers a kilometer and a half, will improve the urban image and strengthen its appeal to domestic and international visitors.
“With a significant investment in top-quality materials, the project represents a firm step toward the orderly development of Tulum.” The 1.5 kilometers of road under repair is at a municipal cost of 9.9 million pesos.
