Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Police have not publicly identified the body of the man found left on a street Sunday morning.
Residents of the Colosio neighborhood reported seeing something suspicious wrapped in a sheet and left on the street.
Authorities were sent to verify the report on 68th Street and 25th Avenue where they located the wrapped body. Once verified, police proceeded to cordon off the perimeter to secure the crime scene.
So far, authorities have not reported any arrests related to the incident nor have they commented on the finding of the body.
