Letters to the Editor

Riviera Maya News accepts Letters to the Editor on topics that concern you as residents and visitors. If you would like your email published, please put “Letter to the Editor” in the subject line, otherwise, your submission will be considered an email.

When writing your piece for submission please consider:

Your piece will be published in the name you provide on the article (not the email used to send), so if you do not want your full name published, sign it as you would like it published: Jane D or John Doe and please include your state and/or province and/or country to help readers relate to who is writing.

Only clean, professional pieces will be published. While we want honest experiences and opinions, profanities will be removed and could result in a piece being rejected.

Please keep your Letters to the Editor state related, so experiences and opinions regarding the state of Quintana Roo.

No accusations or third-party comments against named companies or persons unless accompanied by legal documents and submitted to Riviera Maya News by the person named on the legal documents (the person who filed the complaint).

You are welcome to send a photo that belong to you. No copyright issues please.

Keep your piece to a single page of around 400 words. Modern readers have a short attention span.

Your Letter to the Editor can be sent to newsrivieramaya@gmail.com.
