Mega-brands promoting thousands of Made in Mexico products from over 4,000 registered companies

Mexico City, Mexico — The Made in Mexico (Hecho en Mexico) certificate closes 2025 with more than 4,000 registered companies. The Ministry of Economy says the Hecho en México/Made in Mexico certificate has been awarded to more than 6,000 products.

It represents the inter-institutional and coordinated work between the Ministry of Economy, state governments, chambers of commerce and private initiative.

The Ministry of Economy, through the public policy Made in Mexico, reaffirms its commitment to strengthening national production, promoting quality and increasing national content as pillars for the country’s economic development.

As of December 2025, the Made in Mexico label has been awarded to more than 4,000 companies and more than 6,000 products, representing a significant advance in consolidating a strategy aimed at strengthening the domestic market and recovering national production capacity.

This achievement reflects the commitment of the Government of Mexico, headed by President Claudia Sheinbaum, in which the Secretary of Economy, Marcelo Ebrard, has decisively promoted this initiative as part of a comprehensive vision of economic development with a social conscience.

The Made in Mexico program recognizes entrepreneurship, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), and large companies that meet high quality standards, contribute to economic growth and increased regional and national competitiveness, strengthening consumer confidence in products made in Mexico.

Economy Secretary Marcelo Ebrard stated that “the more we do in Mexico, the better our economy will fare. This will lead to more jobs and a better quality of life and well-being.”

Made in Mexico is the result of strategic inter-institutional work coordinated between the Ministry of Economy, state governments, chambers of commerce and the private sector, who together promote talent, innovation and productive vocations, strengthening national value chains “because what’s Made in Mexico is better made,” he said.

In May 2025, nearly two dozen mega brands signed up to promote Made in Mexico products through their retail stores. Some of those brands include Coppel, The Home Depot, Liverpool, OfficeMax, Circle K, Office Depot, Petco, Walmart, Oxxo México, Mercado Libre, Amazon and 7-Eleven México.

In July 2025, the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association also signed an agreement to promote Made in Mexico products on their ships.
