Cancun, Q.R. — Police in Cancun are investigating the fatal fall of a woman from a balcony in the hotel zone. The woman fell to her death Thursday night from the 18th floor of a hotel.
The woman’s husband called for help reporting that his wife went over the railing of the balcony. According to available information, the couple were guests at the hotel.
The accident was reported at a hotel at kilometer 4.5 of Kukulcan Boulevard in the Cancun Hotel Zone.
Emergency responders located the woman’s body on the ground below. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released details surrounding the alleged fall or the identity of those involved.
