The executive secretary of the National Public Security System, Marcela Figueroa Franco, explained that the 61.3 percent reduction in intentional homicides is due to the fact that in September 2024, Quintana Roo recorded a daily average of two victims of this crime, while in July it decreased to 0.77 percent.
