Cancun, Q.R. — Police say they arrested an American man for stealing a bank card terminal from a central Cancun business. Cancun police were able to track the man down after receiving a report from the victim.
Cancun police officers arrested 52 year old Chancey “N,” a U.S. national, for his alleged involvement in a theft at a business located in Supermanzana 45, they said.
The police action followed a request for assistance from the victim who reported the theft of a bank card terminal from their establishment.
Upon receiving the report, officers conducted a search and located a man matching the description provided. He was positively identified by the victim as the person responsible for the theft.
During a security search, officers seized an electronic bank card terminal along with other evidence.
