Cancun, Q.R. — A man was killed Saturday night from a motorcycle skid along Kukulcán Boulevard in the Cancun Hotel Zone.
Cancun Transit responded to motorist’s reports of the single vehicle accident at kilometer 2 of the busy boulevard. At the scene, officers located the spilled motorcycle and several meters ahead, its driver.
The male driver was found laying in the central median among six lanes of traffic. Paramedics confirmed his death at the scene of the crash. The area was sectioned off while the site of the accident was cleared.
Police have not released the name of the deceased driver or disclosed a possible cause of the fatal accident.
