After their arrests, police learned that four of them are connected to a recent attack that left three dead and two injured.

“Four of them would be related to the firearm attack which occurred in Valle Verde on August 11 of this year, in which three people lost their lives and two more were injured,” he said.

López Salazar identified those in custody as Samuel “N”, alias “Kaus”, Valdemar Arcángel “N”, alias “Tokio”, Víctor Alejandro “N”, alias “Guacho”, Brandon “N”, alias “Fresa” and Moisés Arturo “N”, alias “Puma”.

They were arrested in flagrante delicto by Investigation Police on the Luis Donaldo Colosio Boulevard in Cancun. Alonso “N”, alias “Vampiro”, was captured on 32nd Street West in possession of likely marijuana.

According to preliminary investigations, Alonso “N” would have been the material author of the homicide of three people in Valle Verde, in complicity with Víctor Alejandro “N”, Moisés Arturo “N” and Valdemar Arcángel “N”, he explained.

López Salazar said their investigations indicate that the motive for the triple homicide was the control of drug dealing in the area. The the six individuals in custody belong to a criminal group dedicated to committing homicides, acting as lookouts, and distributing drugs.
