Tulum, Q.R. — A 20 year old native of Tabasco has been captured in the state of Michoacán for murder and attempted murder in Tulum.
Police said Tuesday that Pedro “N” was arrested in Michoacán for his alleged involvement in an armed attack that took place in the early hours of July 27 outside a nightlife venue in Tulum.
The incident resulted in the death of 32-year-old security guard Pablo “N” and left 21-year-old waitress Valeria “N” injured.
According to their investigation, the suspect arrived at the scene in a taxi accompanied by two other individuals. They allegedly fired multiple shots at the establishment before fleeing.
Marco Antonio “N” (alias “El Flaco”) and Edilberto “N” are already in custody in connection with the same incident.
The arrest was carried out through coordination between the Quintana Roo and Michoacán prosecutor’s offices.
Tabasco native Pedro “N” is currently under investigation for aggravated homicide and attempted homicide. Police said he will be transferred to Cancun to face charges of aggravated homicide and attempted homicide.
Authorities did not provide a motive for the July 27 attack against the Tulum nightclub that left one dead and one injured.
