Riviera Maya, Q.R. — Thousands lined the streets around Quintana Roo Thursday to celebrate the 115th Mexican Revolution. Most municipalities celebrated the national holiday with a Civic, Sports and Cultural Parade of costumes and music.

In Chetumal, more than 9,000 people participated in the November 20th parade on the Bahía Boulevard. With a large citizen participation and an atmosphere full of revolutionary pride, the civic-sports parade of November 20th was held in the state capital, bringing together more than 9,000 people.
Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa was among the spectators accompanied by military, educational and sports authorities.
Prior to the parade, Governor Lezama, along with civil and military authorities, led the ceremony of raising the monumental flag in the civic plaza in front of the Government Palace.
Thousands of families enjoyed the event, keeping this historic tradition alive.
The parade route began at the intersection of Bahía Boulevard and Veracruz Avenue and proceeded along the esplanade and civic plaza of the Government Palace.

The Organizing Committee was comprised of several institutions and was led by the Ministry of National Defense, the Quintana Roo Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance and Planning.
