Riviera Maya, Q.R. — More than 600 Quintana Roo drivers have been issued a new license from the Imoveqroo mobile caravans. The caravans, which are made available in the more remote communities around the state, bring the license renewal service to the public.
To date, the Mobility Institute of the State of Quintana Roo (Imoveqroo) has issued over 600 licenses in rural communities of Puerto Morelos, Felipe Carrillo Puerto and José María Morelos through the Mobile Unit Caravans.
The General Director of Imoveqroo, Rodrigo Alcazar Urrutia, reported that in the first two weeks of operation, the caravans have been well received in the communities with the delivery of nearly 660 driver licenses.

Alcazar Urrutia said that people who use the Movilidad del Estado de Quintana Roo (Imoveqroo) Mobile Unit agree that it is a much less complicated procedure than traveling to a municipal capital to renew their license.

Senior citizen Celestino Díaz, who lives in the town of Presidente Juárez said “the service of the staff was efficient. They help us senior citizens and make the process easier for us.”
