The 15 year old girl was found strangled to death inside her home August 25, 2026.

Police have identified Miguel Salvador “N” as her killer. Police say the murder was a home robbery gone wrong.

Miguel Salvador “N” allegedly broke into a home to steal where he was surprised by the victim, they said.

The initial investigations by the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Combating the Crime of Femicide has connected Miguel Salvador “N” to the events that occurred on August 25 of this year at a residence in Superblock 225 where the lifeless body of a minor was located, authorities said in a statement.

The investigation revealed that the assailant took a television and the teenager’s cell phone from the scene.

Personnel from the Public Prosecutor’s Office proceeded with the formal removal of the body for transfer to the Forensic Medical Service for the legally required autopsy, which determined the cause of death to be airway obstruction with a belt, noting that he had previously strangled her with his hands, they added.

It was also established that the now-detained man had entered the house to steal, at that moment he was surprised by the victim who screamed for help, so the subject physically attacked her, took her life and left the house with the stolen items, which he sold at a pawn shop and a cell phone store, police explained.
