Sustainable Development issues illegal real estate alert in Lázaro Cárdenas

Lázaro Cárdenas, Q.R. — Authorities have issued a public notice of four active illegal real estate projects in the state’s north. The notice was released by the Secretariat for Sustainable Urban Territorial Development (Sedetus) in coordination with the Lázaro Cárdenas City Council.

Sedetus (Secretaría de Desarrollo Territorial Urbano Sustentable) says four projects have been found to be offering illegal land sales in the municipality. They include Cenote Hábitat, Nuna Amada Tierra, Villas Kin Ha, and Punta Ciricote.

Authorities say all four lack the necessary permits required in Quintana Roo to sell land and develop real estate.

According to Sedetus, these projects violate the provisions of the Human Settlements, Territorial Planning and Urban Development Law, the Urban Action Law, the Condominium Ownership Law and the State Urban Development Program, among other provisions.

They are warning the public that any purchase, sale, rental, or promise to buy or sell on these sites compromises the assets of the interested parties and could result in legal liability as crimes against urban development.
