Riviera Maya, Q.R. — Residents of Quintana Roo can now check out real estate transactions online for free. The new RPPC (Registro Público De La Propiedad y el Comercio) website was launched Friday by the state government.

Property owners can check the legal status of their property, receive alerts about registration changes, and complete online procedures.
“With the aim of continuing to provide legal certainty, transparency and improve the management of procedures related to real estate, the State Government, headed by Governor Mara Lezama, launched the free digital platform through the Public Registry of Property and Commerce of Quintana Roo (RPPC),” reported its head, Mariann González Pliego Castillo.
She explained that this portal is the result of a comprehensive modernization strategy that seeks to provide legal certainty to the population, protect the assets of Quintana Roo families, and strengthen trust in public institutions.

González Pliego explained that to use the website, citizens will be able to access it once they have created their username and password. They will be able to make public inquiries about their real estate, activate real estate alerts and validate documents issued by the Public Registry using the QR code currently available.
“They will also be able to process online procedures, certified copies, proof of ownership, proof of registration, certificate of freedom from encumbrances and registration history,” she said.

She said the government is taking firm steps toward the digital transformation of registry services in Quintana Roo, bringing quality services to citizens, reducing wait times, protecting family assets, and, above all, combating corruption. The new RPPC website can be accessed online. The government has also provided a YouTube video with Mayan subtitles.
