Mexican nationals wanted on separate murder charges returned to U.S.

Mexico City, Mexico — Two men wanted in the U.S. on separate murder charges have been returned. The Attorney General’s Office says they extradited two people wanted for homicide to the U.S. government.

Louie “H” was wanted by the Superior Court of the State of Washington for King County for the crime of homicide. He was wanted for shooting his ex-partner, causing her death.

He was being held at the Social Reintegration Center in Mexicali, Baja California, under a criminal proceeding against him for the crimes of operations with illicit proceeds and violations of public health prior to being handed over to U.S. officials.

Juan “R” was also handed over to U.S. officials for murder. He was wanted for repeatedly stabbing his ex-partner to death. He was subsequently charged with homicide, stalking and threats by the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Santa Clara.

He was arrested in July 2024 in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Michoacán and held for extradition purposes. Both men were were handed over to designated U.S. agents for their return to the U.S.
