Cancun, Q.R. — Roberto Gonzalo “N”, Jorge Alberto “N” and Fredi Alberto “N” have been charged with extorting a Cancun business. All three are accused of demanding 10,000 pesos per week from a Cancun construction company.
They are also accused of attempting to force workers at the site in SM 313 to sell narcotics on their behalf. If the workers did not sell the drugs, they would be forced to pay for them themselves.
According to police, Roberto Gonzalo “N”, Jorge Alberto “N” and Fredi Alberto “N” arrived at the construction site on March 10, 2025 at which time they demanded an extortion payment of 10,000 pesos per week.
They returned a day later with drugs the construction workers were ordered to sell. Money from the sale of narcotics would be collected by them directly. If the men failed to sell the drugs, the trio warned the men would pay for them themselves. They returned for a third time two days later, which is when the company filed an official complaint with authorities.
“The defendants are identified as Roberto Gonzalo “N”, Jorge Alberto “N” and Fredi Alberto “N”, accused of events that occurred on March 10, 2025, when they entered a construction site located in Supermanzana 313 on Huayacán Avenue, identifying themselves as members of a criminal group and demanding payment of 10,000 pesos per week,” police said in a statement.
“On March 11 of this year, they returned to the scene, carrying envelopes of narcotics, ordering the workers to sell them and hand over the money. If they didn’t comply, they would pay for the drugs. On March 13, they returned again, demanding to speak to the manager and threatening to return later for the money.”

Police said that after a complaint was filed, they began an investigation which lead to the arrests of Roberto Gonzalo “N”, Jorge Alberto “N” and Fredi Alberto “N” and subsequent charges “for their probable participation in the crime of extortion.”
All three were ordered by a Cancun judge to remain imprisoned during their legal process.
