Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — The drivers of two vehicles involved in an accident outside Puerto Aventuras were able to walk away. Thursday, passing motorists reported a collision between a company van and private SUV.
Early reports say the driver of the company transport van failed to acknowledge a red traffic light, which caused it to be hit by the SUV. The highway speed impact caused a great deal of damage to both vehicles.
The National Guard arrived at the scene to help with traffic flow while the mess was sorted out. There were no injuries reported.
