Puerto Aventuras, Q.R. — The state’s federal police have seized properties and arrested two during a Puerto Aventuras search. The operation was carried out by members of the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM) Thursday following months of investigation and monitoring.
In custody are Roberto “N” alias El Mañoso and Iris “N” who were arrested separately during two simultaneous searches at the Puerto Maya III condominiums.
At the properties, federal agents seized bricks of cocaine and an arsenal that included three .223 caliber assault rifles and approximately 2,000 rounds of ammunition. Both searched properties were seized.
Both Roberto “N” and Iris “N ” remain in custody. Police investigations determined a network of operations to which they belonged and their involvement in other crimes in the region.
