Cancun, Q.R. — Emergency services sent to the scene of a Cancun roadway accident found a young driver deceased. The young male was found dead behind the wheel of his car Wednesday in the city’s Cielo Nuevo subdivision.
Police responding to the report of the 4:00 p.m. accident located the old model vehicle crashed head on into the base of a metal pole. The driver suffered severe head injuries.
Police have not confirmed whether or not the young driver was racing against another vehicle at the time of the accident, as reported by local media.
