Tulum, Q.R. — A Tulum taxi driver was rushed to hospital with a head injury after crashing his unit along the Tulum-Felipe Carrillo Puerto highway early Thursday.
Despite overturning his car several times, the driver of the Tulum taxi survived the accident. Emergency responders found the crumpled car in highway brush around 1:40 a.m. Thursday, after an ambulance was requested due to an auto accident.
The driver of the unit, 19-year-old Jesús Alexis N, originally from Tabasco, was taken to hospital after he rolled his vehicle due to excessive speeding.
The destroyed unit was towed to a corral.
