Cozumel, Q.R. — Three searches of three Cozumel homes lead police to the discovery of narcotics, weapons and tactical gear. The searches were conducted Thursday after warrants were issued.
In a briefing, the State Attorney General’s Office reported the searches were made in coordination with the Secretariat of National Defense, the Navy, the National Guard, as well as the Quintana Roo Police and the Municipal Police.
Inside the three homes, police located two long weapons, ballistic vests, tactical uniforms, magazines and firearm cartridges along with a variety of narcotics. One vehicle was also seized.
The FGE did not report any arrests.
