Carlos A. Madrazo, Othón P. Blanco — The FGE has reported the search and seizure of a private home in the town of Carlos A. Madrazo, outside Chetumal. On Saturday, authorities searched the home after a warrant was issued.
Inside, police seized 144 plastic bags of marijuana and 501 sachets of cocaine.
The agency said that “at the end of the operation, security seals were placed on the property which was left under the protection of the Quintana Roo Police who, in coordination with personnel from the FRAI Operational Group of the FGE, provided perimeter security during the procedure.”
Arrests during the search and seizure were not announced.
