Mexico City, Mexico — A K9 narcotics dog successfully sniffed out a 23 kilo cocaine shipment from inside luggage at Mexico City International. The cocaine was found impregnated in clothing in a man’s checked-in baggage.
In a statement, the National Customs Agency of Mexico reported the finding of 23.65 kilos of clothing that was impregnated with cocaine. The clothing was detected by the narcotics dog inside a suitcase at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM).
According to Customs, “this action was carried out when Customs personnel checked with X-rays the checked baggage of a Mexican passenger coming from Santiago de Chile and observed irregularities in the personal effects.”
