Mayor swears in new head of Citizen Security for Puerto Morelos

Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — A  new head of Citizen Security has been sworn in for the municipality of Puerto Morelos. On Friday, Mayor Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz swore in Lieutenant Manuel Alejandro Nava García.

Nava Barcia assumed command of the Secretariat of Citizen Security for Puerto Morelos. He was sworn in after a City Council meeting authorizing the Lieutenant to head the municipality’s SSC division.

In a brief note, the Municipal President Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz reported that she swore in, within the framework of the VII Extraordinary Session of the City Council, Lieutenant of the Marine Infantry Manuel Alejandro Nava García, who assumed command of the Secretariat of Citizen Security.

He was approved to head the division peviously during the 7th Ordinary City Council Session.

Mayor Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz did not provide information on Lieutenant Manuel Alejandro Nava García or a reason for the new assignment.
