Cozumel, Q.R. — The medical examiner was called to a Cozumel address Wednesday night after a man was killed. The unidentified Cozumel resident was shot to death as he arrived home.
Neighbors reported the 9:15 p.m. shooting that lead police to the area where they found the man laying dead on the sidewalk outside his car. According to witness reports, the man was attacked by a spray of gunfire in front of his 37th Street home by two men on a motorcycle.
After opening fire against their target, they fled. Cozumel authorities have not provided an official comment on the shooting.
