Othón P. Blanco, Q.R. — A man was left to die on a highway Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle. The driver who hit the motorcyclist failed to stop. The man he hit died.
Police were made aware of the fatal hit and run accident by other motorists. Unfortunately, other motorist witnesses were unable to provide a description of the vehicle or its driver. There are no security cameras in the area.
The hit and run happened Sunday night near the town of Ucum. The male driver of “the motorcycle was hit by a very fast vehicle that kept going,” witnesses are reported to have told police. The driver of the motorcycle landed on the highway pavement where police found him dead.
