Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — A woman who fell into her home’s septic system has died. The 52-year-old woman was rushed to José María Morelos hospital after family members found her Monday night.
She was rushed to the Comprehensive Hospital where she died shortly after being admitted. The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. in the Maya town of Chunhuhub in the municipality of Felipe Carrillo Puerto when she accidently fell into her home’s open septic system.
She was rushed to the José María Morelos hospital by family since it was closer. She arrived around 9:00 p.m. where she died in hospital of bronchoaspiration. The woman has been identified as 52-year-old Dely “N”.
It is not clear exactly how she fell into the septic system.
