Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — The driver of a compact car was scared out of it after seeing a snake partially inside. Raziel “R”, 33, said he was getting in his car in a town parking lot when he saw movement near his front door.
While getting in, he saw a brown and white snake slip through the hinges and out toward his front fender. The man immediately abandoned his vehicle and called for help.
A few Civil Protection personnel arrived who performed a full inspection of the vehicle, but were unable to locate the snake. Firemen were also called in to smoke out the reptile, but it had already moved off on its own.
The incident happened in the parking lot of a Felipe Carrillo Puerto store Sunday evening. It was around 6:00 p.m. when Raziel “R” spotted the snake. He was parked on the less-used side of the building when the incident happened.
