Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison after being found guilty of rape. In a statement, the State Attorney General’s Office announced the maximum sentence of 50 years was handed down to Jairo “N” for the crime of rape against an underage girl.
The FGE Quintana Roo says it’s commitment is to provide protection to children and adolescents. The young girl, who is legally a minor, was sexually abused by Jairo “N” in 2019 in SM 248 of Cancun.
His sentence included 50-years in prison and a fine of 253,470 pesos for damages.
