Tulum, Q.R. — On Thursday night, police from the municipality of Tulum located the bodies of two women. Their bodies were found left along a highway shortly before midnight. Both had been shot to death.
Municipal Police found the bodies after a nighttime security guard at a nearby construction site reported hearing gunfire. The 911 report sent police to the area where they made the discovery.
They also discovered a two year old child walking along the road near the bodies. Police have not said if the child belonged to one of the dead woman.
One of the women is reported to go by the name of Karla Patricia N. Additional information including their age, was not made known. Four 9mm casings were found at the scene. Police have not made a public statement regarding the shooting.
