Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — An American man has been jailed on narcotics charges after being arrested in central Playa del Carmen. On Sunday, the man, identified only as 47-year-old Jason “N” from the U.S., was jailed on drug charges after a security inspection.
The man was allegedly seen in the Forjadores neighborhood by Municipal Police manipulating marijuana. An inspection of his red backpack revealed pot and crystal along with a scale. He was handcuffed and processed in Playa del Carmen where he will face a judge for official charges.
