Cancun, Q.R. — The FGE reports the arrest of a man for the murder of a woman in Cancun that took place earlier this month. La Fiscalía General del Estado de Quintana Roo says Alexis P has been taken into custody for the August 2 murder of a woman of reserved identity.
In a statement, the FGE says the murder took place August 2 in SM 311 of Cancun when the woman lost her life due to knife injuries sustained inside a house in the El Pedregal neighborhood of Cancun.
Alexis P was taken into custody after a warrant for his arrest was issued by a Cancun judge. The FGE says the young man was arrested in SM 510 Monday morning and has already been palced at the disposal of a judge to face his criminal process.
