Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A woman seen by police showing students doses of marijuana has been apprehended. In a report by the SSC (Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana), state authorities announced the arrest of Cassandra “N”.
“She was arrested after police officers carrying out surveillance on Las Garzas Street in the Villas del Sol neighborhood witnessed her standing near a school where she took out several doses of marijuana from a black backpack and showed them to young students.”
In their statement, the SSC said given the facts, police approached which is when the woman put away the doses of drugs and began to walk quickly toward Constitución Avenue.
In a quick action, police blocked her way with the patrol unit and carried out a physical inspection.”
During her physical inspection, officers located various doses of marijuana, powered cocaine, crystal meth, crack cocaine and a .380 caliber handgun, charger, eight cartridges of the same caliber and a gramera scale.
