Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The Ministry of Public Security and Municipal Traffic of Solidaridad arrested two men and sized more than 200 bags of their drugs. The arrests and seizure were made in the Ejido neighborhood of Playa del Carmen on Thursday evening.
Patrolling police noticed the pair exchanging bags in an area along 75th Avenue. When the men saw police, both fled. One ran on foot while the other hopped on a bicycle to make his getaway, however, police caught up with them.
Jailed was 26-year-old José N from the state of Oaxaca after police located 152 bags of marijuana on his person. Also jailed was 53-year-old Julián N, who was found in possession of 56 bags of marijuana.
