Tulum, Q.R. — A man was transferred to hospital from a Tulum beach Wednesday after coming into contact with a boat propeller. The incident was reported at Playa Pescadores Wednesday afternoon.
According to preliminary information, the Argentinean man was swimming when one of his legs came into contact with a passing fishing boat. His left leg was hit by the moving propeller and badly damaged.
There are allegations the swimmer was outside the swimming bounds when the accident happened. He was treated on site before being transferred to hospital for injuries to his left leg.
