Cancun, Q.R. — Two vehicles traveling an alternate Cancun city route created road chaos after a head on collision. The bus and SUV hit while traveling Huayacán Avenue near the airport.
The bus and private vehicle, which crashed around 4:40 p.m., sent emergency services to the already congested area. Transit Police were left to determine which of the two vehicles was responsible for invading the opposite lane and causing the crash.
Cancun firemen were called in to remove the driver of the SUV from behind the wheel. He was trapped after colliding with the bus and being forced off the road. An ambulance transferred him to hospital.
