Cancun, Q.R. — Chaos was created after a Wednesday night vehicle rollover along the Cancun city exit. The truck roll happened on the highway leaving Cancun, heading toward Playa del Carmen.
It was around 10:30 p.m. when the Municipal Secretary of Public Safety and Transit notified the public of the accident. On social media, they said “a rollover is recorded at the exit from Cancun towards Playa del Carmen. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. Take precautions if you are going to pass through the area.”
There were no updates as to how many people were in the vehicle at the time of the rollover or the extent of the injuries to those inside. Cancun Transit Officers also did not provide information as to how the accident happened, however, the region had been soaked with heavy rainfall for several hours when the accident took place.
