Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Three men found with a weapon, police badge and ski masks were imprisoned Monday morning. Playa del Carmen police noticed the trio parked in a car in the Villas del Sol subdivision during the early morning hours.
When they approached the vehicle, the man behind the wheel identified himself as an active police officer. However, his agressiveness and sudden retraction of his being an active officer raised suspension and all three were inspected.
In their Jetta, Playa del Carmen police located a BB gun, a replica hand gun, a “State of Quintana Roo, municipality of Benito Juárez, Cancún” police badge and three ski masks. Arrested at 5:00 a.m. Monday were 27-year-old Rudy N, 22-year-old Gerson N and William N, no age provided.
