Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — Three men alleged to be drug dealers have been detained in Isla Mujeres. Their arrests were made during a police surveillance tour Tuesday. Isla Mujeres police, in coordination with elements of the navy, initially arrested two men after they were found in possession of drugs and cash.
The pair were handcuffed around 3:00 p.m. and removed from a sports bar when police located their crack cocaine. During their arrest, one of the men pointed out a third male, who was an alleged part of their operation.
The third man was also arrested from the stairs of a different venue after being found in possession of marijuana. Police located his drugs hidden under his hat.
