Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A taxi that was allegedly speeding along the Playa del Carmen highway made contact with a pickup-up truck that had just entered the lane.
The accident happened near the Playa del Carmen police filter after the truck entered the lane. The taxi, who was reported speeding, hit the rear of the truck, completely crushing the front of his car.
The driver of the taxi received injuries to his arm and was taken to hospital, while an occupant of the truck also received injuries and was transferred to hospital.
