Romanian arrested in Cancun traveling with false documents

Cancun, Q.R. — A woman of Romanian nationality was arrested at the Cancun International Airport after she attempted to board a plane to England using false documents.

Federal Police at the Cancun International Airport took the unidentified woman into custody when she tried to travel from Cancun to Manchester, England.

Her arrest was carried out by Federal Police personnel in coordination with elements of the National Migration Institute (INM), who detected that the woman was carrying a passport issued by the Government of Romania and Immigration Form of the INM, which had irregularities in the stamp.

The woman was made available to the State Attorney General’s office in Cancun.
