Cancun, Q.R. — A man and a woman found in possession of electronics were arrested from a Cancun check stop Monday. The pair, identified as Ricardo “N” and Gleni “N”, were removed from their vehicle and taken into custody after police located laptops, cameras and gaming consoles.
Cancun police made the find after a search of their vehicle when they attempted to avoid the check stop. The check stop was set up along Avenida Real Valencia in SM 260. When they approached in their Jeep Patriot, they ignored the police request to stop, instead, speeding up to pass through.
The driver was intercepted and the vehicle stopped and searched. Inside, police found six laptops, three professional cameras with accessories and two gaming consoles.
