José María Morelos, Q.R. — A narcotic search operation in the municipality of José María Morelos lead to the arrest of one and seizure of a property. Authorities searched two homes in the Las Palmas neighborhood in response to anonymous complaints.
The Prosecutor of the Public Ministry in its Narcomenudeo Modality began the investigation which lead to search warrants for the properties. Both homes searched were located on Lázaro Cárdenas Street in the Las Palmas neighborhood.
As a result, Investigative Police from the FGE Quintana Roo entered the first property where they detained Julio “N” and seized bags of marijuana as well as cash.
In the second procedure, after a thorough search, no signs of narcotics were found and the place was not secured. José María Morelos Municipal Police assisted in both searches.
