Cozumel, Q.R. — A young motorcyclist died on impact after he rear-ended a vehicle that was parked without any lights.
Not being able to see the broken down truck on the side of the dark highway, the 27-year-old driver hit the back of the truck at full speed.
The truck, which was fully loaded with material, was parked along the shoulder of the roadway on the eastern portion of the island and not displaying any lights or signs.
The young man, who was returning from work, hit the parked vehicle. Paramedics pronounced him at the scene.
