Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Playa del Carmen police collected evidence from a parking lot after the driver of a motorcycle was shot to death. The shooting took place Thursday night in the parking area of a plaza along Constituyentes and 90th.
According to preliminary reports, the sole occupant of the bike was intercepted by another bike and shot several times. The shooting happened around 10:40 p.m. when the driver tried to hide in the darkened parking area from his attacker.
Five shell casing were found at the scene near the body. The dead man has not been publicly identified.
