Cozumel, Q.R. — Patrolling military officers collected nine wrapped packages of cocaine from the east side of the island of Cozumel. The packages were found independenly in a beach area of Cozumel Friday.
Mexican Army personnel who were patrolling the beach continued their search, locating a total of nine wrapped blocks that weigh approximate 11 kilos.
The blocks were found near the Mayan Castillo Real site. All nine packages were labeled “Moschino” followed by a large stamp of a teddy bear. The word “moschino” is normally associated with high-end fashion and luxury items. Authorities say the commercial value of the found drugs is around two million peso.
