Cancun, Q. R. — Cancun police arrested a man from inside a taxi after he was noticed traveling armed. The arrest happened Sunday afternoon in SM 258 when the man was spotted by patrolling officers.
Elements of the Quintana Roo Police pulled over the Andrés Quintana Roo Union cab and proceeded to inspect the driver and his unit. Inside they located the man in possession of an AR-15 firearm.
A further inspection located several magazines, ammo of various calibers and a set of handcuffs. It is not clear if the taxi was a ligament city cab. Taken into police custody was 31-year-old Jesús H.
