Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — A collision between a car and truck sent four people to hospital Friday. The four involved in the two vehicle crash were transferred to Cancun hospital Friday afternoon.
Police were notified of the crash, which happened along the Federal Highway in the municipality of Puerto Morelos.
According to early reports, the driver of the car involved became distracted and failed to notice a fast braking truck in front. The blue car smashed into the back of the truck. A total of four people from the two vehicles were treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
National Guard attended the scene and were left charged with securing the area until the insurance adjusters arrived.
