Four claiming Cancun criminal gang relations arrested for threats

Cancun, Q.R. — Four men who identified themselves as belonging to a criminal gang were arrested for threats. On Monday, the four men were taken into custody by elements of the State Coordination Group for the Construction of Peace and Security in Cancun.

According to early information, the four men approached a business owner in SM 107 and demanded he open it, threatening him and identifying themselves as members of a criminal group.

When he refused, they sped off. The unidentified business owner provided police with the details they needed to locate and capture the four men.

Their red Mazda was located by police in SM 308. From inside, Carlos “N”, 32 years old, Eduardo “N”, 45 years old, Elmer “N”, 43 and Marcio “N”, 37 were arrested.
